{"id":516,"date":"2021-05-23T13:46:13","date_gmt":"2021-05-23T11:46:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/andersdenker.org\/unkategorisiert\/discourse-and-world-view\/"},"modified":"2021-05-23T13:46:13","modified_gmt":"2021-05-23T11:46:13","slug":"discourse-and-world-view","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/andersdenker.org\/en\/society\/discourse-and-world-view\/","title":{"rendered":"Discourse and world view"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the late 20th and early 21st century, one approach to conflict resolution was and is <a href=\"http:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Diskurs\">discourse with<\/a>the parties involved.<\/p>\n<p>However, discourse is only possible or meaningful if the following points can be assumed by all parties involved:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Openness<\/li>\n<li>Empathy<\/li>\n<li>Tolerance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These abilities are often attributed to themselves without actually being present. Without the triad of these basic skills, a discourse quickly degenerates into an exchange of entrenched world views with no chance of resolving the underlying conflict.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, very few people involved in a conflict have just one of the three skills, which is why many of the publicly displayed discourses, known as talk shows, are unparalleled in their ridiculousness and predictability.<\/p>\n<p>Conflicts can only be resolved if all parties involved have the ability and willingness to find and accept a solution.<\/p><div class=\"pdfprnt-buttons pdfprnt-buttons-post pdfprnt-bottom-right\"><a href=\"https:\/\/andersdenker.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/516?print=print\" class=\"pdfprnt-button pdfprnt-button-print\" target=\"_blank\" ><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/andersdenker.org\/wp-content\/plugins\/pdf-print\/images\/print.png\" alt=\"image_print\" title=\"Print Content\" \/><\/a><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the late 20th and early 21st century, one approach to conflict resolution was and is discourse withthe parties involved.
